Mind your DVRs, FBI fans, because one of Season 5’s new, upcoming episodes will air on a Sunday.

TVLine has learned exclusively that even though CBS’ FBI and the spinoffs FBI: International and FBI: Most Wanted will all be preempted on Tuesday, Nov. 8 by Election Night news coverage, fans of the mothership series will still get a new episode earlier that week, on Sunday, Nov. 6.
The original FBI, after all, has an “extra” episode in inventory, since it aired its postponed Season 4 finale a few weeks into the current season.
As such, CBS’ lineup for Sunday, Nov. 6 will be as follows:
To 7:30 pm ET: NFL overrun
7:30 pm ET / 7 pm PT: 60 Minutes (original episode)
8:30 pm ET / 8 pm PT: FBI (original episode)
9:30 pm ET / 9 pm PT: East New York (original episode)
10:30 pm ET / 10 pm PT: NCIS: Los Angeles (original episode)

In FBI‘s special Sunday outing, which is titled “Double Bind,” when the team works to rescue a 5-year-old kidnapping victim, Scola (played by John Boyd) suspects the boy’s mother isn’t being forthcoming about why her son was targeted. Also, Nina (Shantel VanSanten) struggles to open up to Scola about matters in their relationship.

Is this Nina last episode?
I wonder if they would keep her around even after Maggie returns.
i hope they do
So you’re replacing the Equalizer , don’t know if that’s better. I love both shows.
When is Nina leaving? I don’t get why she gets to be in a relationship as soon as she becomes part of the cast while Tiffany gets no one and has been around longer?! Once again another black character has to wait in the wings until the writers decide they deserve a love interest and if they do give them someone the person is gone after one week or they want them to be gay. I have nothing against gay characters and they are being represented respectfully on these police/crime/drama shows, imo. I just want black women characters to have the same comforts of feeling wanted and needed just like the other characters on these types of shows.
I didn’t think it was possible to make this story about race, but I guess anything really is possible.
I seem to be more aware of the misrepresentation of black love because I’m fully aware of the lack of it. People like you who pretend they don’t feel that lack of misrepresentation are always on the defense. Stop pretending you don’t complain when you don’t see your favs romantically connected with someone you don’t like. I’m trying to get black people and poc a chance to be seen as normal as white characters. Race/ethnicity has always been an issue in this society, pretending it’s not an issue is your blindness to it when it suits your agenda.
I’m tired of ubiquitous TV workplace romances no matter what the race, religion or sexual identity of those involved. From my experience, it doesn’t happen nearly as much in real life. One would think nobody ever meets a prospective partner outside of work.
Workplace romances happen constantly around the globe. Most people are so set in their ways that they refuse to believe that people of different ethnicities and races are attracted to one another and become involved and end up marrying and end up living happy lives together. It’s so sad that some people of full of hate, prejudice, and racism.
i couldn’t agree more
I’m pretty sure Nina and Scola had a history prior, but, go ahead and make it a race issue.
That’s not the point. They cast her as having a history with this guy. Tiffany has been a part of this show much longer but was never given a thought of a love interest. I can’t believe I have to explain this but then again I know why I have to. So tired of the privileged used to seeing what they deem as normal on these shows.
Nina was introduced as a past girlfriend of Scola’s and that is why she and Scola are in a relationship. It is not about making Tiffany wait or cutting in line.
👏👏👏👏
Please remind me Sunday morning.
I would like the loud background music to stop so I could hear what the characters are saying. It happens on many shows today and it is extremely annoying. FBI is one of my favorite shows but I now turn it off because of the loud music drowning out the actors when they are speaking.
OMG – I was beginning to think it was just me. CBS seems to have this problem more than other channels. I find it distracting when you can’t hear the actors’ lines. The other idiocy is when they show someone’s cell phone and the writing is so small you can’t read it. If the text is so important to the story, either make the letters larger or have it read out loud.
I can’t watch it anymore. It is so distracting. I won’t watch it anymore. So sad someone actually thought this would add to the dialogue. It’s ANNOYING just like WRITING IN CAPS!
Your music is way too loud and distracting to the story line… maybe you do not want us to pay attention to a weak story line. But I have to turn of off as music is SO BAD!!! AWFUL.
I used to enjoy watching FBI, but you have lost me as part of your audience and if you check on line you will see many posts on exactly this problem. We want no excuses!!!!
The noise why, all the noise you can’t even hear what they’re saying just like the blacklist Ridiculous I can’t even watch it anymore. It’s one of my favorite shows.
