Duck Dynasty Revival Sets A&E Premiere Date — Here's Who's Returning
It soon will be duck season again.
Eight years after the original unscripted series' finale, A&E's Duck Dynasty: The Revival is set to premiere Sunday, June 1 at 9/8c.
The already-renewed revival's first season of one-hour episodes will run for 10 consecutive weeks.
Duck Dynasty: The Revival will throw the spotlight on Korie and Willie Robertson, along with their adult children and grandchildren, as they live together on their Louisiana homestead.
"With their dynasty expanding into more than just ducks, Willie and Korie will bring their signature humor and family fun as they grapple with mapping out the future of Duck Commander," the official synopsis reads, "watching the kids navigate marriage, children and businesses of their own, and passing down the family legacy."
Original Duck Dynasty front man Phil Robertson, whose Alzheimer's diagnosis was reported in December, will not appear in the revival. (Phil of course was famously suspended from the series in December 2018, ahead of the Season 4 premiere, for making anti-gay remarks in a GQ profile.)
Miss Kay, Uncle Si and other family members will appear, including John Luke, Sadie, Will, Bella and Rebecca and their growing families.
Duck Dynasty originally aired on A&E in 2012, chronicling the lives of the Robertson family and the success of their family-operated business, Duck Commander. It was canceled in 2017 after 11 seasons, but spawned multiple spinoffs including Jep & Jessica: Growing the Dynasty.
