Blue Bloods Season Finale Sneak Peek: Jackie’s Back! With a Proposal….
Jennifer Esposito returns to CBS’ Blue Bloods this Friday for the Season 13 finale, and TVLine has an exclusive sneak peek at Jackie Curatola’s reunion with Danny Reagan (Donnie Wahlberg).
Esposito was a mainstay on the family drama/procedural for its first two seasons, then exited early in Season 3 (last appearing in the Nov 9, 2012 episode).
What brings back Jackie after so extended an absence?
In the episode “Forgive Us Our Trespasses,” after another person is murdered with all the earmarks of serial killer Dr. Leonard Walker (who was played in a February episode by Mather Zickel), Danny and Baez (Marisa Ramirez) team up with Danny’s former partner — now a Chief of Police — to find out who is behind the slayings.

Elsewhere in the finale (airing Friday at 10/9c), Eddie and Jamie’s investigation into a repeat offender leads them to learn that Erin recently prosecuted him for a harassment charge, while Frank — with help from Archbishop Kearns (Stacy Keach) — once again goes up against the mayor after Chase announces he’s empowering the NYPD to take EDP and homeless people off the street.
Sami Gayle and Tony Terraciano also put in an appearance in the season finale, as Erin’s daughter, Nicky Reagan-Boyle, and Danny’s eldest son, Jack. Gayle was a steady presence during the show’s first 10 seasons, but has only recurred since then, last appearing Dec. 8, 2020; Terraciano was last seen in the Season 12 premiere.

I’m stunned that Jennifer Esposito is returning after the way she was treated! Ramirez is okay, but she doesn’t have the believability or fire of Esposito. Please bring her back on a more permanent basis. Let Ramirez stay home with her baby.
Her issues with CBS were resolved long ago which led to her being on NCIS.
I disagree. To me Jennifer Esposito wasn’t good and I love Marisa Ramirez on the show.

The title of that episode sure sounds like the apology that Esposito deserves for the show firing her over her celiac disease.

I love the show, but was very upset to see Jacky leave the show, they should have brought her back years ago.

Lol, BB y’all are teasing me. So happy to see this character back. She and Danny were always so good together. Those who want him and Baez together remember it’s been 6 seasons since Linda has been gone and they have had ZERO chemistry except as good partners. Jackie was her own force, Baez blends into the background except to give occasional side i and appear to sigh towards Danny. She always defers to Danny. Jackie never has, go back to seasons she was on to see it. I would love for her to keep her job and be his love interest and help his every so often then have a big old Reagan wedding at end of next season. .. hey, I can dream 😂❤️

I really enjoyed Jennifer’s work on Blue Bloods. Glad she’s going to make an appearance. Would like it to be permanent. Unfortunately, I’m starting to tire of Danny and Erin. There hot headed and arrogant attitudes have become tiresome. More of Jamie and Eddie, please.
