Vanderpump Rules Renewed For Season 12 With Casting Shake-Up — Who's Returning?

Vanderpump Rules is getting a major facelift.

Bravo on Tuesday announced that the hit reality series has been renewed for Season 12. However, aside from its namesake, none of the previous cast will return.

According to the network, "the new season will feature Lisa Vanderpump and a new group of close-knit SUR-vers who are as complicatedly involved with one another as their iconic predecessors.... Under her watchful eye, the West Hollywood mainstay SUR – and now TomTom – welcomes the next batch of servers, hosts and bartenders rife with plenty of drama, situationships and frenemies."

Season 12 will go into production next year; the premiere date and cast will be announced at a later date.

"The last 12 years of filming have been an extraordinary run full of laughter, tears and everything in between," Vanderpump said in a statement. "I can't thank enough those who have shared their lives. How I love you all. In the restaurant business, one shift always gives way to another. Cheers to the next generation of Vanderpump Rules."

Vanderpump Rules Season 11 wrapped in May. At the time, the cast consisted of Vanderpump, Katie Maloney, Ariana Madix, Tom Sandoval, James Kennedy, Lala Kent, Tom Schwartz and Scheana Shay. Ahead of the Season 12 premiere, Bravo will air a retrospective that "will celebrate the past decade of heartbreaks, friendship rifts and scandals."

There is a silver lining for fans of the original cast, though: Kent, Schwartz, Shay and her husband Brock Davies have all filmed appearances for the upcoming Season 2 of spinoff The Valley, starring Vanderpump Rules alums Jax Taylor, Brittany Cartwright and Kristen Doute, Deadline reports.
