What's New on Netflix in October — Plus: Disney+, HBO Max and Others

Streaming Guide - October 2020

To help you anticipate and navigate all that Netflix has to offer, TVLine presents this comprehensive list of all the TV shows, movies, documentaries and specials making their debut on the streaming service this month — all as a free supplement to our daily What to Watch and weekly TVLine-Up columns.

Among Netflix TV series this October, you have the next installment of the Haunting anthology (by way of Bly Manor), Lily Collins’ Emily in Paris (from Younger creator Darren Star), and a new batch of Unsolved Mysteries. Also on tap are new seasons of David Letterman’s My Next Guest Needs No Introduction and Phil Rosenthal’s Somebody Feed Phil travelogue, the complete runs of classic UPN sitcoms Half & Half and One on One, and new movies from Adam Sandler (the spooky Hubie Halloween) and Aaron Sorkin (the star-studded Trial of the Chicago 7, featuring the likes of Sacha Baron Cohen, Michael Keaton and Jeremy Strong).

TVLine is also offering a look at what’s coming up on Apple TV+ (where Sofia Coppola directs Bill Murray and Rashida Jones in the father-daughter comedy On the Rocks), Disney+ (which has the highly anticipated return of the Emmy-winning The Mandalorian) and HBO Max (where the cast of The West Wing will reunite for a staged theatrical presentation of a classic episode).
