Love Island Season 2: Meet The 11 Singles Looking For Romance In Vegas

Quarantine is about to get very steamy for 11 single men and women. CBS has unveiled the initial cast for Season 2 of Love Island, its unscripted dating series based on the popular U.K. show.

In case you're not familiar with Love Island's premise, the series gathers a group of single people looking for romance (and/or hook-ups), but those who don't couple up within a few days are at risk of being dumped from the island. As new arrivals show up to the island and different relationships evolve, Islanders must also win the hearts of viewers, who have the opportunity to shape on-screen events and ultimately crown one couple the winner.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, though, Season 2 won't take place on an actual island; instead, contestants will be sequestered at the Las Vegas boutique hotel The Cromwell, where both cast and crew will follow strict health and safety protocols while inside a quarantine "bubble." Contestants will also be regularly tested for COVID-19 throughout filming.

Once again hosted by Arielle Vandenberg, Love Island returns with a two-hour premiere on Monday, Aug. 24 at 8/7c on CBS. New episodes then air nightly at 8 pm, including the Saturday clip show, Love Island: More to Love.
