The following contains spoilers from Love Is Blind: After the Altar Season 3. Proceed accordingly.
A year after that explosive finale, the cast of Love Is Blind Season 3 assembled for the three-part special After the Altar.
The episodes, which dropped on Friday, caught fans up with the castmates as they got acclimated to life in Dallas after the altar and geared up for a reunion at Alexa’s birthday extravaganza.
Among the pairings that came face-to-face were Cole and Zanab, who hadn’t seen each other since Zanab confronted him for making rude comments about her body during the reunion episode.
In the finale, Zanab decided not to marry Cole. She called him out at the altar for disrespecting her throughout the season, telling him, “You have insulted me. You have critiqued me… You have singlehandedly shattered my self-confidence. And I hate that you have had that kind of effect on me.”
Alexa and Brennon, and Colleen and Matt, remained the only married couples of the group. Meanwhile, SK and Raven enjoyed life together after their initial breakup, and Nancy and Bartise navigated a confusing dynamic after Bartise refused to marry her.
See below for an update on each pairing from Love Is Blind: After the Altar.

Brennon also called Cole out at Alex’s birthday party for the way that he treated Zanab. Cole responded that he wakes up every day “intending to be a better man.”
Brennon challenged that, pointing out that nobody wakes up and intends to be a worse person. “You can wake up and intend to be a better person, but what the f—k have you done to be a better person?” he asked.
Cole had no answer for that and believed Alexa got into Brennon’s head because she’s friends with Zanab.

Colleen and Matt

They have many disagreements, including the fact that Colleen wants Matt to get his dog neutered and he refuses. They also couldn’t agree on where to purchase a house. She wanted to live in Dallas, and he preferred Fort Worth.
“Matt and Colleen just fight a lot,” their Love Is Blind castmate Raven observed. “It’s just like weird vibes.”
They also weren’t sure of when they were going to start a family. Matt quipped that he and his wife were prepared to handle it if they had a child now, and Colleen expressed the opposite feeling. Still, the pair insisted they were happy and entertained conversations about buying a house together.

Nancy and Bartise
Image Credit: Courtesy of Netflix After Bartise turned Nancy down at the altar, the pair remained friends. Nancy admitted that they got a little handsy one night and she then drew some boundaries. Zanab advised her to go no-contact with him, and her mother and brother (who almost fought Bartise in the finale) questioned why she would continue a relationship with him. What they concluded was that Nancy hadn’t moved on from him.
At the party, Nancy finally sat down with Bartise to let him know that their friendship wasn’t working for her. Bartise claimed her family was getting in her head. Nancy reminded her ex-fiancè that he was more often unkind than he was kind to her. “It doesn’t make sense to keep going forward,” she told him, noting she should have done this the day after the wedding. They then went their separate ways.

Cole and Zanab

Cole shared that he was dating and talking to people but still hadn’t found his person. He wanted to move to San Diego and find a “babe in a bikini.”
The former couple hadn’t seen each other since the reunion, and finally sat down to has things out. Cole maintained that he didn’t know he was making Zanab feel bad about her eating habits and that he was confused about what she said at the altar. Zanab clarified that she didn’t think he was a bad person and that she loved him, but he was bad for her.
Somehow, Cole couldn’t wrap his head around this. “I don’t know if it’s different between a girl’s brain and a guy’s brain, but my brain is like, ‘She either loves me or she doesn’t.” Zaban then walked him through it again, explaining that he wanted something she couldn’t give him.
He went on to say that he thought they were going to keep dating after the wedding. Zanab pushed back on that, explaining that not only did he not like the way that she looked, he didn’t like her enough for them to continue seeing each other.
Cole brushed over that, saying he didn’t want any “beef” between them. Zanab said there was no beef, and they ended the conversation on a positive note.
In his confessional, Cole noted that he wanted to be a father and husband. He wanted to meet someone “smart, beautiful and funny” and who “looks good in a bikini.”
Zanab, meanwhile, said that she just wanted someone to be in her corner. “I want my best friend,” she shared.

SK and Raven

Things looked solid between them, and SK proposed a second time. Although Raven accepted, an update revealed that they have since broken up because SK cheated.
“I really was so invested in the person that everyone saw and loved. That’s the person that I saw and I loved every day, too,” Raven shared. “To see everything that has happened since then is so hard because I was not with the person that I thought I was with.”
