Better Call Saul‘s sixth and final season ought to get a lotta love from Emmy voters, if TVLine readers have anything to say about it.
Ahead of the 74th Primetime Emmy Awards, we polled you last month on the shows and actors you think should win at this year’s ceremony, and AMC’s Breaking Bad prequel earned a majority of your votes for Outstanding Drama Series, Lead Actor in a Drama (for star Bob Odenkirk) and Supporting Actress in a Drama (for the long overdue Rhea Seehorn).
There was a bit more variety to your comedy preferences, with newbie Abbott Elementary claiming some hypothetical victories alongside Hacks and Ted Lasso‘s sophomore runs. Meanwhile, on the limited series front, it seems you were plenty happy with your stay at The White Lotus.
Some fun facts: Of the several razor-thin margins that appeared in the final poll results, the very slimmest was found in the Lead Actress in a Drama category, where Euphoria‘s Zendaya triumphed over Ozark‘s Laura Linney by less than one percentage point. The biggest gap between winner and runner-up, meanwhile, came just one category later — Lead Actor in a Drama Series — where Saul‘s Odenkirk finished a whopping 33 percentage points ahead of Ozark‘s Jason Bateman.
This is all speculation, of course. For the real winners of this year’s Emmys, you’ll have to watch the live ceremony airing Monday, Sept. 12 at 8/7c on NBC; SNL vet Kenan Thompson will host.
