Chicago Fire‘s Sylvie has been laying low the first half of Season 11. Will she have an exciting storyline coming back from the winter break? Maybe more focus on paramedicine, or her friendships with Cruz, Mouch or Stella, or visits from her family? (It’s been a while since we’ve seen Amelia.) –Bridget
Sylvie “has got a lot going on,” co-showrunner Andrea Newman says, adding that troublemaker Emma’s return “will end up impacting [Sylvie] as well.” Plus, the paramedic is “going to have a lot of fun with Dylan. But there’s always the lingering question of: Was Casey the love of her life? And will that make it impossible to move on?”
Is there anything interesting in store for Carlos when 9-1-1: Lone Star premieres in January? –Sarah
Well, for starters, early on in Season 4 Carlos will reveal a pretty big secret to TK. Oh, and Carlos’ life will be put in jeopardy when he investigates the disappearance of someone close to him.
Any Resident scoop on Bruce Greenwood’s character, Dr. Bell? — Marilyn
Fear not, Marilyn: Despite Bell’s recent MS flare-up and his suggestion of traveling back to Minnesota, there are no plans to write out either Bell or his new wife, Kit. “They’re not leaving, not at all. We’re not building to that,” series co-creator Amy Holden Jones confirms, adding with a laugh, “Unless one of them has a horrible surprise to spring on me!” Rather, as Bell continues to manage his fluctuating symptoms, Jones teases that “we’re also interested in him as a teacher. Teaching might be a good avenue for him, though I’m sure we’ll see him operate again.”

Image Credit: Paramount+ Any scoop on the midseason finale of Criminal Minds: Evolution? –LD
This Thursday’s episode — which indeed closes out the first half of the 10-episode season — 1) is dark and twisted, 2) involves Deputy Director Bailey in a surprising way, 3) forces Garcia to collaborate with nemesis Tyler Green, 4) shows Prentiss in an (ahem) eye-opening new light, and 5) ends with quite the cliffhanger. What’s going to happen to Criminal Minds: Evolution‘s JJ and Will after that cliffhanger in 16×04? –Andrea
There’s at least one tiny bump ahead, seeing as Will apparently hasn’t told his missus the entire story….Noughts + Crosses Season 2 aired overseas in April. Any word if or when Season 2 will drop on Peacock in the USA? –Maddy
Peacock has no plans to stream Season 2 Stateside, and a BBC rep has yet to get back to me re: the series perhaps finding a new U.S. sponsor. -
Image Credit: NBC Do you know what La Brea will do with Lucas the rest of this season? Hopefully he gets more than a romance with Veronica. –Deb
Showrunner David Appelbaum told me that Lucas “actually has a really big arc in the back half of the season,” which kicks off Tuesday, Jan. 31. “He’s been on an interesting journey from where he started in Season 1 as this outsider and drug dealer, someone who didn’t relate to people…. But where we find him in the back half of the season, he’s taking more of a leadership role in the clearing, trying to live up to that promise he made his mom. Also, he’s going to have residual physical effects from being tased that cause a lot of problems for him.”Any word yet on when we can expect The Flatshare to premiere in the U.S.? Will Paramount+ show it Stateside? –Kay
No, at this time the six-episode adaptation of Beth O’Leary’s 2019 novel of the same name is only slated to stream outside the U.S. on Paramount+.The Winchesters gets better every week. Any scoop you can share? –Adder
We have not seen the last of Bridget Regan, even though the Akrida possessing Roxy has been expelled. “It was a character that we were excited about in the room. Then obviously you have to find a partner to bring that character to life, and Bridget was the perfect partner,” showrunner Robbie Thompson tells TVLine. “We really wanted to see a return of her — who she really is, if you will — so we will see Roxy return in Episode 10.” -
Image Credit: The CW Any scoop on Nancy Drew‘s Ace and Nancy? Please, there are fans that crave for something. –Marie
While much of Nancy Drew‘s final season (including its premiere date!) remains a mystery, there’s one thing we know for sure: “Nace” fans can expect an “epic, star-crossed romance” to play out in the “amazing ride” planned for Season 4, according to showrunners Melinda Hsu Taylor and Noga Landau. (Wait a minute, weren’t Romeo and Juliet famously star-crossed? Let’s hope things work out better in Horseshoe Bay than they did in Verona.)Any news on the Community movie announced back in September? –Chace
In addition to the thus-far-announced returns, disgraced scientist-turned-Greendale I.T. boss Elroy Patashnik will likely be a part of whatever gets the gang back together. “As far as I know, when it happens, I’ll be there,” Keith David told me during our recent Q&A. “I liked Elroy because he was smart but reclusive, and there are a lot of those kinds of people in the world, whose names you don’t necessarily know but whose work has made a difference in every one of our lives. That’s what I like about him.”Anything on Meredith’s goodbye episode on Grey’s Anatomy? –Patrick
Only that it was written by Krista Vernoff, directed by Debbie Allen and airs Thursday, Feb. 23. -

I binged all three hours just last night, and it is a lot of fun seeing agents from the D.C., Los Angeles and Hawaii offices get mixed and matched to hunt down POIs, squabble over seniority and, yes, even question (a most unlikely!) one of their own in an interrogation room. There’s some solid guest casting (namely, Robert Picardo, 24‘s James Morrison, Agents of SHIELD‘s Maya Stojan and House of Lies‘ Dawn Olivieri), a certain Gibbs “presence” in one sequence, a fun meeting between Sam and Kasie, a highly awkward scene involving Deeks and Torres, a nice team-up for Fatima and Lucy, and what I will call “a very satisfying audio Easter egg” for the fans of one of the three shows. Now that the NCIS crossover has moved back a week to Monday, Jan. 9, is NCIS Los Angeles still returning with a new episode on Sunday, Jan. 8?
Yep! LA fans will in essence be getting new episodes on back-to-back nights. On NCIS: Hawai’i, will we get to meet Jesse Boone’s wife Heather and other kids this season?? –Carlynn
In a note to Inside Line, the CBS drama’s producers said, “We will over time get to know more about Jesse, his kids and also his wife. Some of this will unfold in Season 2. And beyond.”Do YOU want scoop on a favorite show? Email InsideLine@tvline.com! Questions left in Comments will not be read and may very well count against your final score.
