Borat Subsequent Moviefilm: 10 Most Shocking Moments, Including That Rudy Giuliani Hotel Footage

Fourteen years after first visiting America to terrorize — sorry, "romance" — Pamela Anderson, disgraced Kazakh journalist Borat Margaret Sagdiyev has returned to our shores for another round of mayhem.

Now streaming on Amazon Prime, Borat Subsequent Moviefilm: Delivery of Prodigious Bribe to American Regime for Make Benefit Once Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan follows the offensive misadventures of Sacha Baron Cohen's character as he attempts to repair the damage his 2006 movie did to his beloved homeland. But what begins as a simple overseas mission to deliver a prized monkey to Vice President Mike Pence as a show of good faith quickly spirals out of control. That is, if it was ever really in control to begin with.

From a Trump-inspired Disney parody about sexual assault to a series of disturbing misunderstandings about incest and abortion at a Texas women's health facility, this sequel isn't merely satisfied with pushing the envelope. It has to take the whole damn post office along for the ride.

And while an incriminating segment involving Rudy Giuliani — in which he lies down on a hotel bed and reaches into his pants after being interviewed by Maria Bakalova, the actress playing Borat's daughter — has been dominating the headlines, it's hardly the only cringeworthy moment from the 96-minute mockumentary. In fact, it may not even be the worst of the bunch. (For comparison, Cohen showing up to Conservative Political Action Conference dressed like a KKK member? Didn't even make the cut.)

Keep reading for TVLine's full breakdown of the 10 most shocking moments from the Borat sequel, then drop a comment with your thoughts on the character's return below.

The Fate of Azamat Bagatov

Poor Borat barely has time to process the news of his former producer's murder before realizing that he's been sitting on a chair literally made out of Azamat's corpse — complete with exposed genitals, naturally.

Caging Mexicans

Sure, the reveal that Tutar ate Johnny the Monkey during her travels is disturbing, but at least it's scripted. What's the excuse for the hardware store owner who high-fives Borat when he mentions President Trump putting Mexicans in cages? Oh, just pure racism? Yeah, that checks out.

The Disney Parody

If the Borat sequel's ongoing Disney parody — in which an animated Fat King Trump grabs Princess Melania by the "vagine" — wasn't so horrific, we might actually be impressed at how well done it is.

(Speaking of nightmarish fairytales, Tutar's favorite bedtime story about the girl who gets sucked into her own body as punishment for touching herself? Dark.)

The 'Moon Blood' Dance

How any of those debutantes manage to keep a straight face during Tutar's "moon blood" dance — in which Borat's daughter repeatedly pulls up her dress to reveal red-stained underwear — we'll never know. As for us, we fear there isn't enough bleach in the world to wash the image from our collective memory.

The 'Abortion' Scene

No question, the movie's most disturbing scenes involve Tutar accidentally swallowing a plastic baby toy, leading to a "comedy" of errors in which Borat tries to get his daughter an abortion. "I feel bad because I was the one who put the baby in her," he tells a doctor at a women's health facility in Texas, only for the man to say, "That is not important right now. It really doesn't matter how we got to this moment. ... God is the one who creates life, and God doesn't make accidents." (Keep in mind: This all happens despite the man believing that Tutar is Borat's daughter.)

Borat's (Antisemitic) Suicide Mission

Rather than return to Kazakhstan to be "execute," Borat decides to take his own life... by heading to the nearest synagogue "to wait for the next mass shooting." (Oof.) His antisemitism is on full display when he enters the temple disguised as a "typical Jew," where he's greeted by two elderly Jewish women — including a Holocaust survivor — who welcome him with open arms (and feed him soup).

The 'March for Our Rights' Rally Song

At the height of the COVID-19 crisis, Borat attends a right-wing rally in an effort to reconnect with aspiring journalist Tutar. Disguised as "Country Steve," he manages to get the entire, unmasked crowd to accompany him as he sings about injecting former President Obama with the "Wuhan flu" and chopping up journalists "like the Saudis do."

The 'Shirt-Tucking' Incident

Whether or not you believe Trump's personal lawyer was just "fixing his shirt" is one thing. It still doesn't explain why he accompanied the supposed journalist into a hotel bedroom for cocktails, placed his hand on her lower back and asked for her phone number and address. It's an embarrassing encounter for America's mayor, no matter how you spin it.

The 'Patient Zero' Reveal

Turns out the coronavirus didn't originate in China. Towards the end of the film, we discover that Borat was injected with a strain of COVID-19 before he traveled to America by cargo boat. Along the way, he made pitstops in Wuhan, where he visited a wet market; and Sydney, Australia, where he ran into (and proceeded to cough on) Tom Hanks, the first American celebrity to be infected by the virus.

The Running of the American

Borat's latest journey to the "U S and A" teaches him that the greatest threat to Kazakhstan is no longer the Jew — it's the Yankee! This brings us to our final scene, where it is revealed that the ceremonial Running of the Jew has been replaced by the Running of the American. This involves an unmasked American throwing up white power signs, and an equally racist "Karen" who takes an AR-15 and murders chief medical expert Dr. Anthony Fauci.
