Honorable Mentions
Amazon has produced an impressive output of original content over the last 10 years, so some very worthy contenders didn’t make our final cut. (Some were too early in their runs to properly judge from a historical perspective, we decided.) So we’d like to take a moment to recognize A League of Their Own, The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, Daisy Jones & the Six, Hunters, The Summer I Turned Pretty, Reacher, Upload and more personal favorites that fell just short here. We also want to acknowledge Steve McQueen’s stunning anthology Small Axe, which we ultimately deemed a collection of films rather than a TV show.

Yah Upload is one of my favorite shows.

How do you not have Orange is the New Black on here? That’s just a glaring omission–they basically created the idea of binging…and won awards for some epic performances (hello, Uzo Aduba??) You guys missed here…

Um, Orange is the New Black is Netflix. Not Amazon Prime. So it actually makes a lot of sense for it to not be on here, seeings how this list is about Amazon Prime TV shows

Because there’s no such thing as Amazon ‘Prome’.
On a side note, since we are mentioning OITNB… check out Wentworth on Netflix. I know it’s apples to oranges, but I ended up loving Wentworth way more.

Gotta be honest this list can’t be accurate. Boys at only number 4?! No mention of Jack Ryan, invincible, reacher? Heck I didn’t even watch the lord of the rings show but apparently it was record breaking or something.
Nobody ever talks about Sneaky Pete which was an absolute gem, and got to live for 3 seasons, quite suprisingly, given how under the radar it was. Such a brilliant cast. Seriously, do yourselves a favor and watch it.
It was such a fabulous show! When I looked at this list I thought for a second that maybe I didn’t remember correctly, and that it hadn’t been a Prime show. That cast was so, so good. And I agree with you, Mer, everyone should watch it and see what they missed.
Absolutely loved Sneaky Pete. Also really liked Mozart in the Jungle and Catastrophe.

I normally at least somewhat agree with you guys, but this list is pretty off to me. lol
The only thing that matters to me on this list is they got #1 right…Fleabag is one of the most perfectly told tv stories ever. The creator had a story she wanted to tell, she told it, beautifully, and then ended it (perfectly to me)…and while I respect everything she did I desparately want more…i want more fleabag, i want more crashing, i want more PWB creations on my tv show…
All lists are subjective, all people in the comments will be whining or whinging about their favorite show missing (UPload is cute, but it’s poorly acted and has a lot of flaws for isntance) or where their favorite is placed, but that’s what this article is about, clicks and links and debates
But I can’t see anyone rational arguing that fleabag is not number 1, it’s just one of the most perfect tv shows i’ve ever seen (and i’m quite old)
Agree. Fleabag wasn’t a flashy show and it was pretty much perfect.

I’ve actually only seen a few of these. The Boys is my favorite. The English made me ugly cry but I would still recommend it. I like to think that Three Pines would have made this list one day, but it was unduly cancelled (sniff, sniff).
Bosch should be closer to the number 1 spot – in my opinion. Not to mention – so many others are missing but if it’s what the people ranked – oh well!

I think Upload and Man In The High Castle should be on here, but I can’t say definitively because Amazon is so terrible at promoting their shows I haven’t even heard of half of these – so I can’t really compare.
Out of those 15 The Boys beats everything hands down. It is the perfect antiodote to the rest of the other 14 so so programme’s. To leave out Reacher is insane as its worth five series of one the other orogrammes….
Thank you for leaving Reacher and Jack Ryan off the list. I hate seeing mediocrity rewarded.

Mozart in the Jungle is my favorite. Sad it doesn’t even get an honorable mention. One Mississippi is probably my #2
Agreed on Mozart In The Jungle. It’s especially sad since Blair Tindall just died last week, the show should have been top of mind. Not to mention it won some major awards.
Yes, totally, Mozart in the Jungle, I forgot about that! Loved Gael Garcia Bernal in that one.
Mozart in the Jungle is the reason I subscribed to Prime Video. Should have gotten at least a mention.
Bosch is definitely my favorite!! Excellent writing, great cast…can’t go wrong with this show. It’s definitely different than other cop shows which is why I liked it. Drew me in from the first episode. Glad it continues on Freevee although I miss some of the original cast. Great show, though!
Bosch is the only one of these I’ve watched any of, but I do want to catch The Boys
Patriot should have been number 1. I agree that the entire show remained under the radar but like you said, if you know, you know. The writing was brilliant, the actors were brilliant. If I could use one word to encapsulate Patriot it would be ‘genius’.
Fleabag is SO GOOD! highly highly recommend. First season is good, second season is amazing.
