Talamasca Sets October Premiere Date, Reveals Crossover With [Spoiler] From Interview With The Vampire
Talamasca, the third series in Anne Rice's ever-expanding Immortal Universe, will arrive just in time for Halloween.
As revealed during the show's panel at San Diego Comic-Con on Saturday, the show's six-episode first season will premiere Sunday, Oct. 26 at 9/8c on AMC.
It was also announced that Eric Bogosian will guest-star in the show's first season as author Daniel Molloy, his character from Interview With the Vampire. Get a sneak peek at his crossover appearance below:

Loosely connected to both Interview With the Vampire and Mayfair Witches, this new series will focus on the secret organization "responsible for tracking and containing the witches, vampires, werewolves and other creatures scattered around the globe."
As previously reported, the series stars Nicholas Denton (Dangerous Liaisons) as Guy Anatole, a law school graduate who suddenly finds himself thrust into the world of the supernatural; Elizabeth McGovern (Downton Abbey) as Helen, a Talamasca veteran who recruits Guy as her protégé; William Fichtner (Mom) as Jasper, a shady American who assumes control of the Talamasca's London headquarters; and Maisie Richardson-Sellers (DC's Legends of Tomorrow) as Olive, who is assigned as Guy's American handler.
The cast also includes Celine Buckens (Warrior) as Doris, a "strong-willed old soul" who lives with her coven of witches on a houseboat, and Jason Schwartzman (Mountainhead) as Burton, a "charming, rakish vampire leading a cloistered life in a luxurious Upper West Side penthouse."
Members of the titular organization have already been introduced in AMC's other two series based on Rice's books — Interview With the Vampire, which is currently in production on its third season in Toronto, and Mayfair Witches, which recently opened its Season 3 writers' room.
John Lee Hancock and Mark Lafferty serve as co-showrunners of Talamasca. Hancock is also on board as a director.

Nicholas Denton as Guy Anatole
Guy is a "brilliant, handsome and sharp" individual who has "always known his mind works a little differently." As he prepares to graduate from law school, Guy is approached by Helen, who informs him that they've been watching him since childhood.
And just like that, Guy "falls headlong into a world of secret agents and immortal beings who, up to now, have maintained a fragile balance with the mortal world. But for that balance to hold, and for Guy to survive, he will have to learn to embrace the dark, treacherous depths of his true and singular self."
Elizabeth McGovern as Helen
Helen is a "seasoned veteran of the Talamasca, and the leader of its New York Motherhouse. She has long suspected that London's Motherhouse has fallen under the influence of traitorous elements, and a mysterious death prompts her to recruit Guy, who will become her protégé."
Maisie Richardson-Sellers as Olive
Olive is a "beguiling and ambitious agent of the Talamasca, assigned to be Guy's American handler. She is deft with information and a master of disguises in the old tradition of spy craft."
William Fichtner as Jasper
Jasper is a "mysterious American who has quietly assumed control and influence over the Talamasca's London Motherhouse. Though his motives and methods are cloaked in shadow, his charm and righteous sense of purpose are as dangerous as the power he's pursuing."
Jason Schwartzman as Burton
Burton is a "charming, rakish vampire leading a cloistered life in a luxurious Upper West Side penthouse."
Celine Buckens as Doris
Doris is a "strong-willed ... old soul [who] lives with a coven of witches on a houseboat."
