Jensen Ackles (Dean Winchester)

"I'd love to have Jeff [Dean Morgan] back on the show [as John Winchester]. He's a wonderful actor and a wonderful guy and a good friend of mine, but the character itself, I think, is such a rich character. But at the same time... I understand why he left, and it's because it's a show about the brothers. And if Dad was in the picture, it would be a show about a dad and his two sons. So I understand the necessity for it, but at the same time, I'd would love to have him back, even if it was for a couple of episodes."

Jared Padalecki (Sam Winchester)

"The death that stands out of me is a character I would never want to bring back, and it's Bobby Singer. 'Death's Door' is my favorite episode of Supernatural. And I feel like it was such a proper send-off to such a character and a human being. I love and adore Jim Beaver. I love him with all my heart. And as a character, I love and adore Bobby Singer. But I feel like we just said goodbye correctly. And to see him come back I feel would cheapen that. As much as I selfishly want to see him come back, because I love Jim and I love the character and I love the 'idjits,' I don't want him to come back because it would be sh—y to bring him back after having said goodbye to him properly."

"I still feel a small pang at Kevin Tran's [played by Osric Chau] death, a small bit of responsibility there. I will always feel a pang at Bobby's death. He was such a significant character, and Meg [played by Rachel Miner]. She was very cool. I was very proud of the episode where she went out."

"The one that pops in my head is Bobby, just because I'm happier when Bobby is alive and part of their family. It really became about the three of them — and not that [the writers] don't bring him back. They do. But it's not quite the same when he's there to provide some of the only support they get. "I really liked Abaddon. Redhead power! She kind of had the best red hair. She's kind of fantastic. And then Bobby, of course, is a fantastic character. I got to do one episode with Jim [Beaver]... You have these characters and you want to pull the heartstrings of the audience, so what are you going to do?"

"I cried [when Bobby died]. I'm not a sap... especially [with] a show where I'm like, 'I know them.' That was one [where] I was like, 'Oh, my gosh, Jared, I feel so moved by that.' That was probably a top one for me."

"Jim Beaver, oh my gosh. I'm a fan of the show. He brings so much to the set, he brings so much to the show. His character was so lovable and curmudgeonly. And I, personally, adore working with him. So I really missed him."
