Revenge Catch-Up Guide: Where Did We Leave Off? And What's Next For Emily & Co.?

EMILY VANCAMP

Emily Thorne

Last We Saw | The revenge-seeker's world was rocked upon finding out that her very own mentor, Takeda, had killed Tyler and framed her fiancé Daniel — all as a means of helping preserve her plans to avenge the wrongful death of her father.

What's Next | Emily, not surprisingly, will continue her quest for revenge, with new resolve to not allow anyone — including her soon-to-be hubby — to get in the way. That said, the love triangle between Em, Daniel and Jack will come to a head in an interesting way, when we'll get a peek at just "how far she's willing to go for Daniel," Emily VanCamp teases. An upcoming all-flashback episode is said to feature the leading lady's "first glimpse at these people who destroyed her family," VanCamp adds. "There's a big event [that happens] at this New Year's Eve party, and it really solidifies what her father's been telling her... That's sort of the beginning of her journey." Emily may also soon uncover the identity of a mystery man who murdered her father.

JOSH BOWMAN, EMILY VANCAMP

Daniel Grayson

Last We Saw | Daniel (unwillingly) left his life of luxury behind in favor of a stint behind bars for the murder of his onetime pal Tyler Barrol. With his fiancée by his side, the eldest Grayson offspring faced a no-nonsense judge, who denied his bail and demanded he stay in prison for the duration of his trial.

What's Next | Josh Bowman recently revealed that if and when Daniel is exonerated in Tyler's murder, he will "come to a crossroads in making a decision between good and evil." The result? A much "darker side of Daniel," showrunner Mike Kelley tells E! Online, which is so dramatic that "in a lot of ways [it] helps Emily stay focused on what her reason for coming out to the Hamptons was in the first place." Daniel will also come to a realization that "he's been pulled and pushed and manipulated by both his mother and beautiful fiancée," which will manifest itself in a "new respect and understanding" for his equally devious father.

MARGARITA LEVIEVA, NICK WECHSLER

Jack Porter and "Amanda Clarke"

Last We Saw | Heartbroken and reeling from what he witnessed that fateful night on the beach, Jack was determined to find the MIA love of his life, "Amanda," before the Graysons could locate her. (Unfortunately, Amanda's under Takeda's watchful eye and we "won't learn exactly what happens to her until the end of the season," Kelley tells E! Online.) However, unbeknownst to the noble barkeep, the high-profile Hamptons fam had already set in motion plans to pin Tyler's murder on him.

What's Next | Jack will quickly become a new suspect in the murder investigation, after both Charlotte and Declan recount seeing a man in a hoodie the night of the crime. The Graysons, taking it one step further, will somehow come up with a crime sketch that, not coincidentally, resembles Jack. On a lighter note, Jack is donning some Tom Cruise-in-Rock of Ages hair in the series' upcoming 2002 flashback episode... So, get excited!

MADELEINE STOWE, HENRY CZERNY

Victoria and Conrad Grayson

Last We Saw | The at-odds exes reached a seemingly amicable understanding in their divorce settlement, wherein Victoria gets the manor but zero shares of Grayson Global. However, it was soon revealed that Queen V still had revenge on the mind in the form of a call to the SEC about some (alleged?) illegal activity going on in the family business.

What's Next | The two will, for the duration of Daniel's trial, present a united front. However, "vengeance is coming" in the nasty divorce arc, Kelley promises. Victoria, meanwhile, will soon reconnect with a man (played by James Purefoy) from her past. "I call him much more than a love interest," Madeline Stowe tells E! Online. "It's a very visceral, physical kind of [relationship]. I think ABC had to go through and see what they could actually leave on the air or not, so I don't know what's going to end up being cut!" What's more, we hear the 2002 all-flashback installment features a more playful and fun Victoria.

GABRIEL MANN

Nolan Ross

Last We Saw | Good ol' Nolan got into bed, figuratively, with Em's ass-kicking mentor Takeda, aiding in the "elimination" of Amanda and getting Emily's revengenda plans back on track. The Preppily-Dressed One also attempted to help his best pal Jack get out of town and avoid any further pain from the destruction going on around him, but his offer was, unfortunately, rebuffed.

What's Next | Does a '90s-tinged Nolan Ross tickle your fancy? Well, it's your lucky day because the aforementioned flashback ep features a vastly different Hamptonite. "You're going to start finding out how Nolan went from a Pearl Jam-loving Seattle grunge musician standing outside of an Escalade with an infinity box to a Peter Pan-looking, popped-collar guy," Gabriel Mann tells us. Something you won't see: a romantic relationship between the two. "Theirs was always meant to be a sibling relationship," Kelley shares. "It's got a nice, warm beating-heart to the series; otherwise it's just a bunch of nastiness."

CONNOR PAOLO, CHRISTA B. ALLEN

Charlotte Grayson and Declan Porter

Last We Saw | Charlotte began to spiral out of control — and pop pills like candy! — after discovering that her birth father was actually presumed bad guy David Clarke. Declan attempted to help his girlfriend clean up her act, but she refused.

What's Next | A happy ending for these young lovebirds looks unlikely, as Declan will soon "turn into a bit of a tattletale" regarding Charlotte's drug problem, co-star Christa B. Allen teases. Declan's upcoming testimony in Tyler's murder case is none-too-pleasing to the Grayson clan, either, and does some serious damage to his romantic relationship.

ASHLEY MADEKWE

Ashley Davenport

Last We Saw | The Hamptons' resident busybody was climbing the social ladder, landing a spot as a spokesperson for the Graysons. However, her sudden career ascension was called into question when Nolan discovered that she'd leaked photos of a just-arrested Daniel in order to acquire her new job.

What's Next | Look for Ashley to "have a definite shift in loyalty" by season's end, says Kelley. "We're going out with Ashley doing something where she has to make a big decision regarding Emily."
