Split Decision

Samcedes fans, grab some Kleenex. Asked by a fan if she could expect to see more of the on-again/off-again couple in Season 4, Murphy replied, "Alas, no. Sam will have a new girlfriend this year. Guess who it is!" Hmm...if it's possible to guess, that means Sam will likely be paired with a returning character from the halls of McKinley High. And the current roster of single ladies there includes Sugar Motta, and (if their long-distance relationships implode) Brittany S. Pierce and/or Tina Cohen-Chang. Yeah, our money's on Sugar.

Good Stuffing

Murphy Tweeted that Glee is planning "a great two-part Thanksgiving episode. Sectionals happens during Turkey Time this year!"

Trouble in Pairs-adise?

Murphy recently Tweeted that the show's writers "are working on an episode called 'The Break-Up' that I'm really excited about." Which might imply imminent doom for Klaine, Brittana, or Wemma. (But it's not like they'd break up Wemma, right?)
Blaine's portrayer, Darren Criss, recently told our own Michael Ausiello that he wouldn't mind if his character and Chris Colfer's Kurt hit some rough patches. "It's weird when you're in a relationship and someone graduates, or there are 'locational' shifts," he noted. "So I should hope that they deal with that obstacle like any couple has to. It's good to have speed bumps, so it'll be nice to have those this year. Chris and I are verging on 'old married couple' status, so it will be nice to shake it up a bit."

Oh, His Mother's Blood'd Curdle

How's this for one of Murphy's more delectable casting dreams. "You know who I want as BLAINE's mom?" he asked. "Catherine Zeta-Jones!" Hey, actually, so do we!

Heart Habit to Break

Michele recently Tweeted a cryptic picture of a wall adorned with a double heart surrounding the word "Finn." From which we might assume that Rachel hasn't quite squahed her feelings for her high-school beau, nor has she learned the perils of slapping paint on an exposed brick wall in a Manhattan apartment rental.

Say "Cheers!"

Murphy declared in a recent Tweet that "Heather [Morris] is killing it as Brittany in these first four episodes. She's amazing!" And interestingly enough, Michele shared a photo of Morris alongside her on-screen love Naya Rivera (Santana) that featured the latter character in a jaunty new cheerleading uniform. Yes, in case you missed the news out of Comic-Con, executive producer Brad Falchuk told fans that despite getting the okay from her mother to head to New York, Santana will start the season at University of Louisville on her cheerleading scholarship.

Pedal Power

Not sure if Rachel's trying to reduce her carbon footprint, or if there's a bicycle involved in one of the NYADA productions in which she's involved, but this particular photo prompted Michele to observe that "today Rachel's wearing pants! She never wears pants! LOL."

Fa-fa-fa-fashion

Responding to a viewer who insisted Kurt had suffered enough dark moments in Season 3, Murphy Tweeted his agreement, then added, "Kurt will triumph at Vogue.com." Anybody else thinking there'll be an upcoming episode entitled "The Devil Wears NYADA"?

Don't Underestimate the Things That They Might Do

If you loved last season's "Rumour Has It"/"Someone Like You" mashup, then you've got something to look forward to come September. "The first group number is 'Chasing Pavements' by the fabulous Miss [Adele]," Murphy announced last week.

Bright Lights, Big City

Murphy Tweeted a photo of stars Lea Michele and Kate Hudson (playing Rachel's tough dance instructor) "on the NYADA set. Kate had chandelier approval," he joked. And while we can't say too much about the lighting, we can certainly note that Hudson's hairstylist is doing some Emmy-worthy work.

BFFs in NYC?

While Season 3 ended with Rachel headed to New York, Finn planning to attend boot camp, Kurt in a state of uncertainty, and Blaine readying to head to his senior year at McKinley, all signs point to some reunions in the immediate future. For one, Michele Tweeted thic cryptic image of Kurt and Rachel on a ladder. (Let's hope they're not earning pocket money as part of a Manhattan house-painting service!) Later, Michele shared that she'd had "Another amazing session in the studio with [music supervisor Alex Anders] today, recording a Finchel/Klaine duet! You guys are gonna LOVE it!"
