After reuniting with Bertie and winning the approval of his no-nonsense mother, Edith finally said goodbye to the spinster life — and looked damn good in the process.

No, really, check out this full-length shot of the new Mrs. Pelham. Kween.

After getting a tour of Tom and Henry's new car shop (shoppe?), Mary revealed that a little Talbot is, in fact, on the way.

But the real twist was that Mary chose to wait until after Edith's wedding to blast the good news wide. (Which only proves Edith's point that Mary can be a nice person... as long as she's happy.)

With Bates and that quack Dr. Clarkson by her side, Anna gave birth to a beautiful, healthy baby boy in Lady Mary's bed. (Scandal alert!)

I actually thought it was a nice way of bringing the series full circle, creating a new life in the same place poor Mr. Pamuk lost his own all those years ago. Can you imagine if they named their baby after him? Ladies and gentlemen, Pamuk Bates.

I've been a big fan of Tom and Laura's budding romance, so I was just as giddy as Tom when he told her, "We like strong women around here. I assure you, we like them very much, indeed." As you can imagine, I pretty much lost it when she caught the bouquet at Edith's wedding.

After working at the most boring house in England for five minutes, Thomas returned to Downton and — in a sensible-yet-bizarre turn of events — took over as the new butler, replacing an aging Carson.

And now, a moment of silence for Carson's career. He may be a cold husband and an aggressive homophobe, but he was a damn fine butler.

All hope seemed lost when Daisy decided to channel her inner Lifetime movie psycho and chop off her hair...

...but with an assist from the world's most magical blowdryer, Anna was able to re-shape Daisy's hack job into an elegant "Lady Mary." Honestly, Anne Sullivan wasn't half the miracle worker Anna Bates is.

Rose returned with Atticus for Edith's wedding, but more importantly, she took Robert aside to teach him a long-overdue lesson: Stop being such a jerk. (Rose, where were you six seasons ago?!)

Denker tried to get Spratt fired by revealing his side job, and the Dowager Countess literally laughed in her face. It was incredible.

(Also, Denker and Spratt need to stop fighting and cut directly to the hate-sex.)

After a heart-to-heart chat by the Christmas tree, Cora finally earned the Dowager Countess' seal of approval to run the hospital. I'm really glad they were able to cease their cold war and end the series on good terms.

Also, Robert didn't puke blood all over everybody, so that's another victory.

Farewell, Downton.
