How To Watch Oscar-Nominated Poor Things And Anatomy Of A Fall Online

Ahead of the Oscars ceremony airing Sunday, March 10 on ABC, you will have the option to watch one of the year's most-nominated films.

Poor Things, which is nominated for 11 Oscars including Best Picture, Director and Cinematography, and for which Emma Stone is vying for Best Lead Actress, is set to hit Hulu on Thursday, March 7.

Hailing from filmmaker Yorgos Lanthimos, Poor Things presents "the incredible tale and fantastical evolution of Bella Baxter (played by Stone), a young woman brought back to life by the brilliant and unorthodox scientist Dr. Godwin Baxter (Willem Dafoe)," the official synopsis tells us. "Hungry for the worldliness she is lacking, Bella runs off with Duncan Wedderburn (Mark Ruffalo), a slick and debauched lawyer, on a whirlwind adventure across the continents. Free from the prejudices of her times, Bella grows steadfast in her purpose to stand for equality and liberation."

Anatomy of a Fall, which is up for five Academy Awards (including Best Picture, Director and Lead Actress Sandra Hüller), also will have a home on Hulu — albeit after the Oscars have come and gone, beginning Friday, March 22.

The film's arguably spoilery synopsis says, "For the past year, Sandra (played by Hüller), her husband Samuel (Samuel Theis), and their 11-year-old son Daniel (Milo Machado-Graner) have lived a secluded life in a remote town in the French Alps. When Samuel is found dead in the snow below their chalet, the police question whether he was murdered or committed suicide. Samuel's suspicious death is presumed murder, and Sandra becomes the main suspect.

"What follows is not just an investigation into the circumstances of Samuel's death, but an unsettling psychological journey into the depths of Sandra and Samuel's conflicted relationship."
