Vivica A. Fox's Poppa's House Role Will Have You Asking: 'Say Wha?!' (Exclusive)

Vivica A. Fox is bringing some order to Poppa's House, guest-starring in an April 2025 episode as a judge, TVLine has learned exclusively.

Her character, Judge Say Wha?!, is "a savvy force of nature," according to CBS' official description. "Her catchphrase is 'Say Wha?!' and the court loves to join in with her. She rules her courtroom with an iron fist; she is not to be messed with, as Junior will discover. She takes a liking to Poppa, and is very impressed with his style and demeanor, much to Junior's dismay."

Fox's previous TV credits include roles on Empire, Mr. Box Office, Curb Your Enthusiasm, 1-800-Missing and Generations, among countless shows. She also famously portrayed Skye in the Sharknado film series.

Poppa's House follows happily divorced radio host Poppa (Damon Wayans) as he's challenged at both work and at home, dealing with his new female co-host (Essence Atkins) and still parenting his adult son (Damon Wayans Jr.).

In other Poppa's House news, Marlon Wayans will also be guest-starring in a February 2025 episode as Poppa's brother Melvin, "a bit of a ne'er do well who comes to visit the family with a new business idea. Poppa is quick to warn everyone not to trust him, while Ivy and Junior want to believe he's changed," the official description reads.
