Ghosts First Look: Superstore Vet Ben Feldman Can See Spirits, Too! (Exclusive)

Sam's special ability on Ghosts is no longer one of a kind.

Superstore vet Ben Feldman will guest-star on the hit CBS comedy as Kyle, the first person in the show's history that we've met who also has the power to talk to ghosts, TVLine has learned exclusively. And Kyle's introduction will pose a serious problem for the series' resident married couple.

In the episode, airing Thursday, May 1 at 8:30/7:30c, "Sam and Jay's relationship is tested when Kyle, a handsome living who shares Sam's ability to see ghosts, arrives at Woodstone B&B," reads the official description. Get a first look at Feldman's character below — Pete sure is happy about Kyle's visit! — then scroll down to keep reading.

It's unclear how Kyle gained his special power to communicate with the dead. Sam, of course, developed hers after hitting her head and ending up in a coma, so here's hoping Kyle's story is less traumatic. But it sounds like Sam and Kyle will be connecting over the shared ability, perhaps making Jay jealous?

Fun fact time: Feldman is the fourth Superstore vet to appear on Ghosts. Nichole Sakura had a small arc as Sasappis' car-ghost love interest, Jessica; Kaliko Kauahi played Inspector Sherry in the Season 2 episode "The Liquor License"; and Irene White (aka Carol) was a ghost whom Pete met at a big box store.

Feldman's other TV credits include Mayfair Witches, Monsters at Work, Silicon Valley, Mad Men and Drop Dead Diva.
