Ryan has spent more than a decade covering the television industry. He currently serves as a senior editor for TVLine. Since joining the team in 2015, he has become a trusted source for breaking news and in-depth interviews with the stars and creative minds behind some of TV's most popular shows, which have generated millions of views across TVLine and its social platforms. A recognized authority on network and streaming comedies, Ryan applies expert insight to his coverage of everything from "The Big Bang Theory" universe to "Ted Lasso" and "Only Murders in the Building." He also has a long-standing passion for late-night television, shaped early on by David Letterman, Conan O'Brien, and "Saturday Night Live." That passion was evident in his reporting on "SNL" during the 2016 and 2020 presidential election cycles.
Education
Ryan has a bachelor's degree in media studies and journalism from CUNY Hunter College.
