Nobody Wants This Season 3 Trailer: Has Joanne Finally Gained Noah's Mother's Approval?
As the trailer for "Nobody Wants This" Season 3 makes abundantly clear, Kristen Bell's Joanne and Adam Brody's Noah are now living together. But that's hardly the biggest development teased in the new footage.
At one point, Joanne shows up to synagogue dressed like a rebbetzin — the Yiddish word for a rabbi's wife — and, as we soon discover, her outfit was picked out by none other than Noah's mother Bina (Tovah Feldshuh), whose approval has historically been hard to come by.
We also get our first glimpse at what life is like for Sasha (Timothy Simons) and Esther (Jackie Tohn) now that they're separated. Sasha, now sporting blond hair, is reluctant to put himself back out there. Esther, on the other hand, seems to hit it off with a new character played by Steven Weber ("Chicago Med").
Then there's Joanne's sister Morgan (Justine Lupe) — who, after breaking off her engagement to Dr. Andy, is finally focusing on herself. Could her friendship with Sasha blossom into something more?

Season 3 of the Netflix rom-com premieres Thursday, October 22. In addition to Bell, Brody, Lupe, Simons, Tohn, and Feldshuh, returning cast members include Shiloh Bearman (Miriam), Sherry Cola (Ashley), Stephanie Faracy (Lynn), Michael Hitchcock (Henry), and Paul Ben-Victor (Ilan).
New to Season 3 are Andrew Rannells ("Girls") and Keyla Monterroso Mejia ("The Studio"), who recur as Joanne's conversion classmates Sebastien and Amber, respectively, and Sarah Silverman, who plays their Intro to Judaism teacher, Rabbi Eden — all of whom are glimpsed in the trailer above.
Also guest-starring are Avan Jogia ("56 Days"), Poorna Jagannathan ("Never Have I Ever"), Sadie Sandler ("Happy Gilmore 2"), Stephanie Koenig ("English Teacher"), and series creator Erin Foster.
