The CW’s entire freshman class has made the honor roll, with the network granting full-season orders to Charmed, Legacies and All American, TVLine has learned. Nine more episodes have been added to Charmed‘s order, bringing it to a full 22, while All American and Legacies are both getting three more episodes, bringing their totals to 16.
A reboot of the iconic WB-era series, Charmed (Sundays, 9/8c) stars Madeleine Mantock, Melonie Diaz and Sarah Jeffery as three sisters who discover they’re also the world’s most powerful witches; Legacies (Thursdays, 9/8c), the third installment in the Vampire Diaries franchise, is set at a top-secret boarding school for supernatural teenagers; and All American (Wednesdays, 9/8c), which is based on a true story, follows the ever-dramatic life of a high school football star (played by Daniel Ezra) from south Los Angeles who gets recruited to play for Beverly Hills High School, turning his entire life upside down.
Paired with Supergirl to launch The CW’s new Sunday slate, Charmed premiered to 1.6 million total viewers and a 0.5 demo rating, and to date is averaging 1.25 mil/0.4. With Live+7 DVR playback factored in, its linear numbers more than double. All American kicked off with just 690,000 viewers and a 0.2 demo rating, yet at last tally delivered 780K/0.3. With DVR playback, it sees gains of more than 50 percent. And last out of the gate this fall, Legacies debuted to 1.1 mil and a 0.3, then in Week 2 gained nearly a tenth in the demo.
