If your chief complaint about The Good Fight‘s just-wrapped first season was, “Really? Only 10 episodes?” we have good news: you’ve reportedly been heard.
According to Entertainment Weekly, the CBS All Access legal drama’s episode count will rise to 13 in Season 2. (A CBS rep is now confirming the report.)
Little else is known about the spinoff’s forthcoming sophomore season, save for the fact that all the main players — including but not limited to the central trio of Christine Baranski (Diane), Cush Jumbo (Lucca) and Rose Leslie (Maia) — will be back, the new season will roll out in 2018 and, if series creator Robert King gets his wish, Good Wife vet Alan Cumming (Eli) will be paying his onscreen daughter Sarah Steele (Marissa) a visit.
Acknowledging that Cumming’s dance card is fairly full, King recently told TVLine, “If there’s any way to make that work we would try. It’d be fun to see where Eli Gold is in this new world we’re in.”
