Ratings: World Series Game 3 Delivers 12-Year Audience High; H50 Ties Low

Fox’s broadcast of the Cleveland Indians’ nailbiter 1-0 win over the Chicago Cubs on Friday night drew 19.38 million total viewers and a 5.2 demo rating (per finals), rising versus this World Series’ second match-up and up sharply from last year’s Game 3.

It also marks the most-watched Game 3 since Red Sox/Cardinals 2004.

Indians/Cubs Game 1 thus remains the most-watched of the series thus far, having delivered 19.4 million viewers (with a 5.6 rating).

Up against the Fall Classic….

THE CW | Vampire Diaries (900K/0.3) dipped, while and Crazy Ex (450K/0.2) matched its season premiere rating.

CBS | MacGyver (7.3 mil/0.9) ticked down to season lows, Hawaii Five-0 (8.5 mil/1.0) slipped two tenths to match its all-time demo low and Blue Bloods (8.9 mil/1.1) was steady.

ABC | Leading out of a Great Pumpkin rebroadcast (4.1 mil/1.1), Shark Tank (4.4 mil/1.1) slipped 19 percent and two tenths, tying its all-time demo low.

NBC | Caught on Camera (2.7 mil/0.6) held steady.
