TVLine Items: Patton Oswalt Is a Little Pony, New Quantico Regular and More

My Little Pony is taking on Comic-Con, and Patton Oswalt is going to help them do it.

The comedian and former King of Queens star will voice a new character named Quibble Pants (photo, left) on the midseason premiere of My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic. Titled “Stranger Than Fan Fiction,” the episode finds Rainbow Dash attending the Daring Do Convention and meeting Quibble Pants, who despises the event as much as she loves it. As the two get wrapped up in a real-life Daring Do adventure, they must settle their differences if they have any chance of surviving.

My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic returns Saturday, July 30 at 11:30a/10:30c on Discovery Family. The cast and creatives behind the animated hit will participate in a panel discussion at Comic-Con in San Diego on Friday, July 22 at 10:30 am.
