Taylor Lautner is about to shape shift into the world’s prettiest doctor.
The Twilight actor is checking into Scream Queens‘ hospital-themed second season in a series-regular role, TVLine has learned. He’ll be playing “Dr. Cassidy Cascade,” an MD who suffers from a strange medical condition (hmmm… ) and becomes a suspect when a series of tragic events plagues the institution.
Lautner will be making rounds alongside fellow Scream Queens rookie John Stamos, who is set to portray fellow doc Brock Holt, the hospital’s brilliant — but secretive — head surgeon.
For Season 2, Ryan Murphy’s horror satire is eschewing college life for the medical world, with the action taking place at a hospital where the most fascinating and bizarre cases are under observation. As previously reported, Jamie Lee Curtis, Emma Roberts, Lea Michele, Abigail Breslin, Keke Palmer, Glen Powell, Billie Lourd and Niecy Nash are all set to reprise their Season 1 characters.

Prior to his breakout role as Jacob Black in the Twilight franchise, Lautner cut his teeth on the small screen with guest stints on The Bernie Mac Show and My Wife and Kids, before landing the full-time role of Christian Slater’s son in NBC’s My Own Worst Enemy. He most recently co-starred in the U.K. sitcom Cuckoo.
Scream Queens‘ launches Season 2 on Tuesday, Sept. 20 at 9/8c.
