Chicago Justice Series Order NBC

TVLine Items: Chicago Justice Names Boss, HBO's Lemonade Refill and More

Chicago Justice will be served by a Law & Order vet.

Michael S. Chernuchin — who was an executive producer on Criminal Intent as well as the mother-ship series — has been named showrunner of NBC’s midseason Windy City-set spinoff, our sister site Deadline reports.

In addition to overseeing L&O from 2002-04, Chernuchin was a producer on Black Sails, Canterbury’s Law and 24.

SO HAPPY about You Me Her! Such a good show.

    • Wordsmith says:

Just discovered it, and binged the whole season in two afternoons. It fills that same weird cynical-and-dark-yet-funny–and-heartwarming niche in my twisted romantic soul as You’re the Worst. Glad there’s going to be more.
For some reason, I still can’t quite connect with Greg Poehler’s character, which is a shame, because the two leading ladies, the roommate and the erstwhile boyfriend are all tremendously appealing.

  2. Kevin K says:

Happy about Chicago Justice naming its showrunner. Hope Philip Winchester should get his groove back on prime time TV but I still miss The Player so much which was a fun high octane action packed series.
