Mary Queen of Scots is closing in on a new hubby.
Will Kemp (Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce, 90210) will guest-star on Season 4 of Reign as Lord Darnley, the real-life English nobleman who would become Mary’s second husband, per out sister site Deadline.
As first reported by TVLine, Darnley has a blood-claim to the English throne and a “wildly ambitious mother whose love hinges entirely on his ability to secure a crown.” He hopes to become Mary’s spouse, a union which “could take down Elizabeth, giving [the couple] not just one nation, but two.”
