In Season 2 of UnREAL, Rachel’s love life is going to live up to the series’ title: Freddie Stroma will be reprising his role of former Everlasting bachelor Adam during the Lifetime series’ sophomore run, TVLine has confirmed.
It is not known under what circumstances Adam will return or for how many episodes, but given how his relationship with Rachel ended, it’s sure to be dramatic. When we last saw the twosome, they were planning to run off together… until a warning from Rachel’s boss Quinn convinced Adam to leave her on the tarmac. Since turnabout is fair play, Rachel subsequently got her revenge when her fickle suitor got dumped on live TV by his Everlasting bride-to-be Anna.
“We always look at the story from the Rachel/Quinn point of view and just ask, ‘Do they still have feelings in their heart? Is there still story left?'” co-creator Sarah Gertrude Shapiro told TVLine in January. “And definitely, Adam and Rachel did not resolve their story.”
Stroma — who stars on ABC’s midseason drama Time After Time — can soon be seen on the current season of Game of Thrones as Samwell Tarly’s brother, Dickon.
UnREAL Season 2 premieres Monday, June 6 at 10/9c.
YahooTV first reported the news of Stroma’s return.
