TVLine Items: Paul Adelstein Heads to Hulu, Buffy Vet in ABC Pilot and More

Paul Adelstein Chance

Paul Adelstein might want to stock up on Red Bull, because we don’t see much downtime in his future.

The actor, who recently confirmed his involvement in Fox’s Prison Break revival, will co-star with Hugh Laurie in the Hulu drama Chance.

The series — which has already snagged a two-season, 20-episode order — focuses on Eldon Chance (Laurie), a forensic neuropsychiatrist who gets wrapped up in the violent and dangerous world of mistaken identity, police corruption and mental illness.

Per our sister site Deadline, Adelstein will play Raymond Blackstone, a ruthless police detective and the abusive spouse of one of Chance’s patients (Boardwalk Empire‘s Gretchen Mol). He will film the series concurrently with Prison Break.
