Major Crimes Season 5: Kickin' It Alum Leo Howard to Raise Suspicions

Not two weeks after Major Crimes closed Season 4, we have our first intel on the upcoming summer cycle.

TVLine has learned exclusively that Leo Howard, who starred on Disney XD’s Kickin’ It (and Shake it Up before that) has landed a juicy role in the TNT drama’s Season 5 premiere.

Howard will guest-star as Gabe Young, a self-entitled, arrogant prep school graduate whose girlfriend disappeared after he was seen arguing with her. When the FBI hauls the lad back from Mexico, he ends up with a lot of explaining to do — especially since he has lied about his girlfriend’s whereabouts.

A champion in martial arts, Howard’s previous credits also include Lab Rats, Zeke and Luther and playing a young Conan the Barbarian in the 2011 Jason Momoa starrer. He also is certified by the Guinness Book of World Records as the youngest TV director ever, for his work on the Kickin’ It episode “Fight at the Museum.”

This past December, Howard’s name was on one of the first “short lists” to play a young Han Solo in the upcoming Star Wars offshoot.
