Nickelodeon is about to make denim shirts and khaki shorts look cool again.

Kirk Fogg, who hosted the network’s game show Legends of the Hidden Temple from 1993 to 1995, will be back for its TV-movie reboot.

Slated to premiere this fall, the scripted Legends revival will follow three siblings who break away from a ho-hum jungle tour, only to find themselves immersed in a high-stakes series of obstacles that they must complete to stay alive.

Details of Fogg’s character are fuzzy, but he will play a key figure in the movie that pays homage to his original Legends hosting duties.

“When Nickelodeon asked me to be a part of the Legends of the Hidden Temple movie, I immediately went to the closet and pulled out my blue denim shirt, which has been protected by a powerful golden force field since 1995,” said Fogg. “Legends is truly a legend, and I’m honored to be a part of it again. I’m sure the Ancient Olmec had something to do with this; that rock head is pretty sneaky.”

As previously reported, other aspects of the ’90s game show will appear in the reboot, including the Steps of Knowledge and Temple Guards. Will Fogg’s participation entice you to watch?
