A new stylistic promo for ABC’s The Catch evokes The Thomas Crown Affair, promising “the sexiest game of cat-and-mouse” — a teasey tango, to be exact — between an ace investigator and an elite con man.
The Catch stars Mireille Enos (The Killing) as Alice Vaughan, L.A.’s top private investigator – and the one woman you don’t want to mess with. When her fiancé (Parenthood‘s Peter Krause) cons her out of millions and disappears, Alice goes on a private mission for payback, no matter where it leads or the secrets she must keep along the way.
Premiering Thursday, March 24 at 10/9c (after How to Get Away With Murder wraps its sophomore run), The Catch also stars Alimi Ballard (Numb3rs), Jay Hayden (Hulu’s Battleground), Jacky Ido (Taxi Brooklyn), Rose Rollins (The L Word), Elvy Yost (Mildred Pierce) and Sonya Walger (Lost).
What’s your early read on The Catch? Enos as a super-sleuth, sure, but are we buying Adam Braverman as a suave fink?
