Barbra Streisand Modern Family

The Dunphy clan will soon be visited by one iconic funny girl.

Barbra Streisand will lend her voice to the Jan. 6 episode of Modern Family (ABC, 9/8c), the Oscar winner revealed via Twitter Monday.

Sources confirm for TVLine that Streisand will be heard in the episode — which finds Phil and Claire haggling with another couple over a dinner bill, while Jay and Gloria meet a set of parents just like them — but offered no details.

* ComicBook.com hears that Daredevil Season 2 will release on March 25 — the same day that Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice hits theaters — though neither Netflix nor Marvel TV are confirming.

* Virginia Madsen (Witches of East End) will guest-star on an early spring episode of Elementary as a potential love interest for Gregson. Per EW.com, she will appear as Paige Cowen, a former NYPD detective who is protective of her budding relationship with Gregson, after a scandal caused her to leave the force.

* FXX has opted not to move forward with its animated series Cassius and Clay. Originally ordered to series in August, the project starred Kaitlin Olson (It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia) and Lake Bell (Childrens Hospital) as two women forced to become bandits in a post-apocalyptic America.

* Singer/songwriter Josh Groban and tattoo artist Kat Von D are set to guest-star on an upcoming episode of Life in Pieces. According to EW.com, Groban will play a guitar salesman trying to woo Clementine, while Von D will fittingly play a tattoo artist that Tim seeks out.
