The Blacklist won’t be running out of names anytime soon: NBC has renewed its James Spader-led drama series for a fourth season, TVLine has confirmed.
Series creator Jon Bokenkamp broke the news Friday during an interview with the podcast The Blacklist Exposed.
“We knew about that a while ago. It’s one of those things that’s hard to keep quiet. But yes, we’re renewed through the fourth season,” he revealed. “Hopefully we don’t tank that out. We’ve got a lot of story to tell.”
The Blacklist‘s Season 4 pickup continues NBC’s early renewal trend; Chicago Fire, Chicago P.D. and freshman thriller Blindspot have all been greenlit for additional seasons in the last month.
