Guilt follows a young American woman (played by The Syndicate‘s Daisy Head) in London who becomes the prime suspect in the savage murder of her roommate/best friend. As the investigation unfolds, viewers and even the girl’s own sister (Arrow‘s Katrina Law) will question whether she’s innocent or a sociopath. The mystery will weave through all levels of London society, from a posh but depraved sex club to the Royal family. Billy Zane (Titanic) co-stars as a cocky and cunning defense attorney.
Beyond, meanwhile, centers on a young man (Burkely Duffield) who wakes up from a coma after 12 years and discovers he has supernatural abilities that entangle him in a dangerous conspiracy. Tim Kring (Heroes) is among the executive producers.
“These two shows are an exciting part of our evolution into Freeform,” Karey Burke, executive VP of programming and development, said in a statement. “Guilt is a sexy, sophisticated event series whose European location feels bigger than anything we have ever done. Beyond introduces our audience to a new hero and takes them into a complex supernatural universe with great suspense and deep emotion.”
