Shameless Sherilyn Fenn

TVLine Items: Twin Peaks Fave Gets Shameless, Big Bang's Trek Nod & More

Meet the mother of Frank Gallagher’s other adult daughter on Shameless.

Twin Peaks alumna Sherilyn Fenn has landed the recurring role of Queen, an earthy and sensual grandmother many times over who loves to be naked, our sister site Deadline reports. She replaces the previously announed Kelly LeBrock prior to the character’s first appearance.

Queen had sex with Frank on top of a washing machine when they were both high on mushrooms at 16, resulting in their now grown daughter, Sammi.

Season 6 of Shameless debuts Sunday, Jan. 10 at 9/8c on Showtime.

  1. Steven says:

Fun Fact: This actually marks Sherilyn’s return to Showtime. She starred in Rude Awakening for 3 seasons from 1998-2001.

  2. Ben Covington says:

Hope this doesn’t interfere with Sherilyn’s return to TWIN PEAKS (assuming she *is* returning)!

  3. Mr. Tran K says:

James Corden (host of The Late Late Show) would have been a great fit to host the upcoming People’s Choice Awards.

  4. Annie says:

Oh man, getting the tissues ready for BBT. <3 & LLAP

  5. Joey says:

Fenn is fantastic, and I’m now really digging what’s coming for season six (despite there being far less Mickey…).

  6. AnnieM says:

Henry Rollins should be cast as Negan on The Walking Dead.

  7. Jim J. says:

I think they should get somebody else to host the 2016 People’s Choice Awards, because CBS has problems finding a spot on their schedule for “Angel From Hell”, which Jane Lynch is going to star in, and the announcement that Lynch will host the PCAs was clearly made before CBS decided to give “Life in Pieces” a full-season order.
