Fuller House Cast Spoilers

Fuller House Adds Dallas Troublemaker Juan Pablo Di Pace as Kimmy's Ex

Kimmy Gibbler’s bringing along some very handsome baggage when she moves into Fuller House next year.

Juan Pablo Di Pace (Dallas) will recur on the Netflix revival series as Kimmy’s ex-husband Fernando, TVLine has learned exclusively. As we previously reported, Fernando — with whom Kimmy shares a daughter named Ramona — is being described as “inappropriately passionate,” a character trait largely responsible for the couple’s split. Still, he’s “relentless” in his efforts to win Kimmy back.

Di Pace is one of several new additions to the show’s complicated forest of family trees. Last week, TVLine revealed that DJ’s sons will be played by Michael Campion and Elias Harger, while Kimmy and Fernando’s daughter will be played by Soni Nicole Bringas.

Following Dallas‘ conclusion in 2014, Di Pace went on to play Jesus on NBC’s A.D. The Bible Continues; prior to Dallas, he appeared on NBC’s Camp as Miguel Santos. He is repped by Paula Rosenberg (ICA Talent Management) and The Gersh Agency.

He’s from South America therefore he’s too passionate and inappropriate for a blond white American woman. You know how these chicos latinos are…

  2. Will says:

in that photo he looks like a latino Ryan Reynolds!

  3. Aleen Ali Apasamini says:

Just another reason Dallas should NOT have been cancelled. Very disappointing. Be of luck to Juan Pablo in future ventures.

  4. Gail Lessard says:

I love Juan Pablo Di Pace so I will watch this show because he is appearing. Glad to see him in a juicy role again. Loved him as Nicholas on Dallas and will love this character as well. He’s a sexy guy and should be appreciated in that way. Had to rein all that enthusiasm in when he was playing Jesus. He did a superb job as Jesus but we had to show a more reverent attitude toward him during that time. Ready to enjoy the sexy again!
