Ratings: ABC's Quantico Holds Steady in Week 2, Even as Blood & Oil Slips

ABC’s Quantico in Week 2 drew 6.9 million total viewers and a 1.9 rating, dipping just 3 percent in audience while matching its premiere’s demo number — one of few freshman series to do so this fall.

In fact, the Priyanka Chopra-fronted FBI thriller was Sunday’s highest-rated drama (out of six).

Lead-in Blood & Oil however slipped 18 percent and two tenths from its own debut, to 5.2 mil/1.2. Opening ABC’s night, Once Upon a Time (5.3 mil/1.8) dipped 10 percent in audience while steady in the demo.


CBS | Pending adjustment due to NFL overrun/delays, Madam Secretary (11.9 mil/1.5) landed smack dab in the middle between its year-ago debut (14.7 mil/2.0) and its finale (9.7 mil/1.0). The Good Wife returned to 9.4 mil/1.2, down from its previous premiere (11.1 mil/1.4) but matching its May finale. CSI: Cyber christened its new time slot with 7 mil and a 1.0, down from its freshman finale (6.7 mil/1.2, on a Wednesday).

NBC | Sunday Night Football‘s coverage of the Cowboys/Saints game (21.1 mil/7.6) was up from last week’s fast nationals.

FOX | With an NFL lead-in, The Simpsons (6 mil/2.6) nearly doubled its premiere numbers, while Brooklyn Nine-Nine (4.1 mil/1.9), Family Guy (3.6 mil/1.7) and Last Man on Earth (3.3 mil/1.5) gained four, two and one tenths, respectively.
