Gotham Sneak Peek: Who Is Smitten With Jim Gordon's Girlfriend?

This Monday, in a decidedly lighter moment amid an otherwise very intense episode of Fox’s Gotham, Dr. Leslie Thompkins finally makes the acquaintance of young Master Bruce Wayne (who in DC Comics lore she becomes somewhat of a mother figure to).

As seen in the sneak peek above, Lee meets Bruce at a magic-themed hospital fundraiser. But while mature-for-his-years Bruce is all business, asking about Detective Gordon in the wake of last week’s attack on the GCPD, it’s someone else who is positively (and rightfully so) smitten with the doctor.

Who will break the news that Lee is already spoken for…?

In the third episode of Season 2, titled “The Last Laugh,” Gordon and Bullock track down a nemesis from the past, leading to a standoff with that joker, Jerome.

Well at least someone likes her. I like the new crazy Barbara but preferred her with Jim before she went crazy.

Really!? Barbara, to me, was completely insufferable throughout most of season one. Season two Barbara is a vast improvement.

For some inexplicable reason, I’m both amused and distracted by Brian Setzer’s “Dirty Boogie” playing in the background throughout the clip.

  4. Well I guess this answers the question of whether Lee is Bruce’s godmother. (As her comic book counterpart is.)
