Fall TV Preview

Brooklyn Nine-Nine: Bill Hader Clashes With Andy Samberg in Season 3 Promo

Is Brooklyn Nine-Nine making enemies out of former Saturday Night Live castmates Bill Hader and Andy Samberg?

A new 15-second TV spot for the comedy’s Sept. 27 premiere (Fox, 8:30/7:30c) gives us our first look at Hader in action as Captain Seth Dozerman, who appears to toe the line between tough-as-nails and completely insane.

“My motto is simple: efficiency, efficiency, efficiency,” Dozerman announces with a straight face. Attempting to land a joke, Samberg’s Jake quips, “You could probably just say it once,” to which Dozerman replies, “You making fun of my stutter?” (Yikes!)

Let’s hope Jake manages to make better first impressions with some of the other Season 3 additions, like The Good Wife‘s Archie Panjabi.
