CBS, Gloria Allred Team for Legal Drama Inspired by Firebrand Attorney

Here’s one potential drama series that probably won’t wind up on Bill Cosby’s DVR.

CBS is joining forces with civil-rights lawyer and media magnet Gloria Allred to develop a fictional drama series loosely based on her life and work. Our sister site Deadline broke the news.

Girls scribe Deborah Schoeneman is penning the script.

Allred’s high-profile clients through the years include the family of Nicole Brown Simpson, Tiger Woods’ alleged mistress Rachel Uchitel, more than a dozen of the women who’ve accused Cosby of sexual assault and several high-profile victims of anti-gay and anti-transgender bias.

Would you watch a drama series focusing on a fictionalized Allred? Give a “Yea” or “Nay” down in the comments!

Comments are monitored, so don’t go off topic, don’t frakkin’ curse and don’t bore us with how much your coworker’s sister-in-law makes per hour. Talk smart about TV!

  1. If God himself were to come to me in a vision and tell me this would be the greatest television show of all time and it would change my life, I still wouldn’t watch it.

  2. opus says:

I think Gloria Allred is one of the most disgusting lawyers in America and I almost always find myself disbelieving her clients just because they decide to hire her. I will never never watch a show based on her life. BOO to CBS!!!!!!

  3. She never seen a man she liked

  4. LynnH says:

As if we don’t have enough of her in real life…

  5. So the titular character will be an ambulance chancing scumbag that the entire legal profession despises?

  6. Thomas hunter says:

She is an opportunist and self promoter.. There have been several clients that said they never saw or spoke with her again after the press conference was over. Is that what CBS is gonna show? This show will suuck even more than CBS’ decision to work with this “I hate men” themed attorney.
