TVLine Items: DWTS Pro Returns, Selena Gomez Joins The Voice and More

Karina Smirnoff DWTS

Watch out, Val Chmerkovskiy: Karina Smirnoff has her eye on the Mirrorball Trophy once again.

The Dancing With the Stars pro — who sat out Season 20 to focus on other projects — will be back for this fall’s 21st season, EW.com reports.

“I was a little nervous about not dancing on the show at all last season,” Smirnoff told the site, adding, “I’ve had obvious moments when I’ve missed it.”

Smirnoff took home the Mirrorball Trophy in Season 13 with partner J.R. Martinez, and most recently danced with UFC champion Randy Couture in Season 19.

Dancing With the Stars returns Monday, Sept. 14, at 8/7c on ABC.
