Sneak Peek: Smallville's Allison Mack 'Befriends' American Odyssey Daughter

Stranger danger!…?

This Sunday on American Odyssey (NBC, 10/9c), Smallville favorite Allison Mack begins an arc as Julia, an intelligent and empathetic woman who strikes up a convo with Sgt. Odelle Ballard’s daughter Suzanne — and TVLine has a first look at their bonding over Harry Potter and such.

To date, young Suzanne (played by Sadie Sink) can only suspect that her mother is somehow still alive, despite what grownup after grownup has told her. (Helping fuel the lass’ theory is the fact that the wedding ring belonging to her “dead” mom, relayed to her father by the Army, seems a bit… bogus.)

But will she confide her suspicions in her new bookstore buddy, as her father Ron (Jim True-Frost) looks on from across the way?

Elsewhere in Sunday’s episode: Odelle (Anna Friel) and Aslam (Omar Ghazaoui) are hit hard by Frank Majors’ (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje) attack on Shakir Khan; a desperate Peter (Peter Facinelli) makes a deal with Societel Mining CEO Alex Baker; and Bob (Nate Mooney) gets closer to discovering Ruby’s (Daniella Pineda) true identity.
