    Is “Apocalypse” not happening now?

  2. Dean says:

Now the question is which shows take a hit from coflicting scheduling.

  3. Belle says:

What do the * mean; on The Mindy Project and The Following?

  4. ninamags says:

What does it mean, The 100/Supernatural???????????

  5. herman1959 says:

Well, I see that The Blacklist is still scheduled against Scandal (not good), but the lead-in is Heroes Reborn (better)…we’ll see how it goes.

  6. Scott says:

Was looking forward to Heroes Reborn but I no longer trust NBC. I won’t be leaving Bones to give NBC a chance to disappoint me again. NBC will at least have to promise me closure if they cancel a series before I will take a chance again.

    • Marc says:

There may be some closure on some characters’ stories, but Kring developed Heroes as something akin to a comic book (or a soap for that matter, though the stories aren’t soapy). There are ongoing story arcs that end but the overall universe of these heroes is ongoing and can and will continue in other media and back on television if possible as long as there is interest. As someone once told me about Lost, its about the journey, not the destination. She was wrong about Lost, but Heroes is about an endless series of story arcs involving related characters.

  7. Laura C says:

I’m still waiting to hear if Blue Bloods is being renewed. We watch both Shark Tanks on ABC, then switch to BB on CBS for our Fri. nights. PLEASE renew Blue Bloods. Our time with the Reagan family on the streets, in the courtroom, and around their dinner table on Sunday nights is a MUST-SEE for us.

  8. Mr. Tran K says:

Don’t know when and if CBS is renewing its drama roster before the Eye network’s upfronts begins on Wednesday now that they already canceled both rookie dramas in Battle Creek and Stalker.

  9. Fx says:

Network don’t care about ratings as much as they used to because they’re getting their millions elsewhere, as long as it doesn’t hit a 0.9 rtg, it’s good enough to be on the schedule.

  10. AddieM says:

Here’s hoping The Blacklist is moved back to Mondays, I have very little faith in Heroes Reborn being a strong lead-in.

  11. William says:

    Biggest Loser?

  12. Clare says:

has Forever been canceled ? I hope not. I love that show

  13. Mike says:

Handy reminder in grey is impossible to even read!

  14. lynn says:

What the hell NBC?? No Chicago Fire until November! It’s bad enough you jerk us around by only airing a new show every couple weeks from Jan-May. Are you trying to kill the fan base?

    • Laura C says:

Whatever happened to the good old days when the NEW season started in Sept and ended in May? Now you have them starting in late Sept to Nov. They are moved around, pre-empted by specials and sports, taking a hiatus for weeks or a month or more, then ending in May or so. No wonder they lose viewership, no one knows for sure WHEN they’re show will be on, or it’s dumped before it even gets a chance to develop a fan base. Nielsen rating is no longer relevant with the change of how people view TV, using DVRs. The whole TV system is screwy.18-49 are NOT the only ones buying sponsor products. They have anyone older buying Depends and Poligrip. Rather, they have MORE $$ to spend and TIME to travel and do things. TV execs need to quit putting us ALL in the nursing home babbling & eating Pablum

      • hud says:

Laura C: You are now my new hero.Finding someone else who finds the network programming bizarre at best, or maybe asinine is a better word. Show 2 ep. skip a week, come back with a ENCORE of the first ep. week after pre-empt with a special on and on and on. Recording technology makes this a useless practice. Show the program as scheduled, don’t worry about what it is up against. Let the VIEWER decide. Should also end the idiotic promos for other programs on their network, we KNOW what is coming up…

      • J says:

It is only one thing and probably not a big one anymore for decisions. There are “nielsen” ratings with DVR that TV people get to see. Most of the decisions are being made on the Live +3 ratings for Ad $$ right now tho there is a push for Live +7. You just have to search to find them ;) I do agree about the long stupid hiatuses tho :)

  15. jude says:

Matt, You have some explaining to do…….. You have BOTH The Messengers and Hart of Dixie showing for CW at 9pm om FRIDAYS …..well, both shows have been cancelled ! Then you have BOTH the 100 and SUPERNATURAL showing for 9 pm on WEDNESDAYS….and both shows are going strong….. So which one is moving to FRIDAY ????? PLEASE DON”T SAY SUPERNATURAL………puh-leez !!!!????? We have been moved soooo many times in the past 5 years it’s just pure luck that anyone finds the show anymore.

    • Tenney says:

Matt already explained in the article. He said that anything in light grey represents the schedule for last season. Those networks haven’t released their new schedules yet.

    • Nick says:

Yeah, he explained it, but the I think it would make more sense if Supernatural was in grey in both timeslots it had this year, since it moved when iZombie dropped.

  16. Mr. Sunshine says:

Well, I am glad that I love to read. These days you can’t rely on any show lasting longer than a season if it doesn’t get those stellar and coveted 18-49 ratings. Oh well, it is what it is……
    :-)

  17. Carol Long says:

What happened to your monthly TV grid? I can only find it every other month or so.

  18. Matuse says:

Is NBC trying to kill Grimm by having a lame show and one unknown show as leads? Not cool NBC, not cool.

  19. Jared says:

Sleepy Hollow is gonna get killed in that new Thursday time slot.

  20. Amanda says:

Yay we don’t have to wait till January for new Empire!!

  21. Jake says:

WHAT THE HELL, FOX? You own and produce Sleepy Hollow! Making it compete against Scandal and TBBT is terrible. Don’t you WANT it to succeed? Hope you’re ready to promo & get the cast live interviews (neither of which was done last season).

  22. Television Watcher says:

Reblogged this on The Television Watcher.

  23. Chris says:

Thank you CBS ~ confirmation on renewals was worth the “suspense”

  26. Remy says:

What am I going to do on Thursdays now?!?!? Too many shows to DVR. Can’t we move around some Tuesday stuff?

  27. Nicole says:

Wow. No conflicts for me on any night. How sad…

  28. jg says:

    Where’s 2 Broke Dogs? Cancelled

  29. Connie Dzierzak says:

I will miss Forever. I really liked that show. Loved the star Ioan

  30. normbrunner says:

Mike & Molly and 2 Broke Girls were renewed early only to sit out the fall. Looks like Person of Interest is stting on the bench as well.

  31. Missy Kelly says:

Glad I got the enhanced DVR that records 6 shows at once and Friday nights to watch some of them because the only thing I watch on Friday is Hawaii 5-0. Always like to give the new shows a chance and I see that Sunday, Monday & Tuesday are good show heavy as usual!

  32. natalia h says:

I still can’t deal with how much more I have to wait for The 100. Just, urgh. So sad/mad.

  33. wrstlgirl says:

Yes, this is what I’ve been waiting for. Thank ya mucho!!!

  34. Dave says:

    Definitely watching:

    The Player
    Grandfathered
    The Grinder
    Quantico
    Heroes:REBORN
    People are Talking
I’ll give Best Time Ever with NPH a try

  35. Maryann says:

I just want to see ABC slot Forever back into that Tuesday 10PM time slot. It has done better than anything else they have put there for years.

  36. TinLV says:

Do they just assume everyone in the country goes out on Saturday night ? There is never anything on network schedules worth watching.

    • Fred says:

the following should all be cancelled and/or never shown. They are all an insult to a person’s intelligence. Mary Mary, Kendra on Top, Match Made in Heaven, Marriage Boot Camp, Sex Box, SWV Reunited, Braxton Family Values, LA Hair, and Cutting it in the ATL (the dumbest

    • Matt Webb Mitovich says:

Dude. Why do you keep posting this? This grid has nothing to do with such shows, nor does TVLine ever cover them.

      • Fred says:

The shows are all on WE network, and some of the shows say they are live, and they are (unfortunately) available on most cable and satellite systems. TVLine needs to cover them and get them abolished.

  38. Dorothy says:

    Where is Chicago Fire?

  39. Janet says:

There are numerous sports channels. Football should be there, not on CBS. Same for the basketball games and tennis matches that preempt daytime.

  40. Kim Norris says:

Miss Shirley and I need a season 7 of Castle. Can we get a definitive yes on this issue. We need Castle as much as he needs us. Please respond promptly. We would greatly appreciate it. Thank you.
    Sincerely
    Kim and Miss Shirley

  41. Harry P. Clifford says:

Showing the so called network TV schedule only is lame! I expect better!

    • Matt Webb Mitovich says:

Cable premieres are staggered/not limited to fall, to include them in any legible manner would be impossible, “Harry.”

  42. T Jones says:

Looks like I’ll have to continue to watch reruns. I think the best television has ridden off into the sunset. The only “free” tv I enjoy these days : sports and the soaps. RIP broadcast television.

  43. meatwad says:

Oh crap, i have a minimum of four shows on each night right now

  44. Jen-E says:

Is People Are Talking the same as Truth Be Told?

  45. sue says:

Haven’t noticed any start date for NBC’s Crossbones. Is it still alive or did it bite the dust?
