Legends Can't Kill Sean Bean Again, Can It? Plus: Ali Larter's Heroes Wish

The new TNT thriller Legends stars Sean Bean as an elite FBI operative who is (perhaps too?) unparalleled in his ability to create, adopt and immerse himself in a false persona. As such, the series can’t possibly add to the actor’s renowned number of on-screen deaths… right?

Legends costars Ali Larter (Heroes), Morris Chestnut (V) and Tina Majorino (Veronica Mars) — who play Bean’s colleague, adversary and colleague — weighed in on that topic during a visit to TVLine’s Comic-Con suite, where Majorino (exaggerating for effect) put Bean’s death toll at 75 to date, while Larter named her favorite Bean death scene (um, Game of Thrones spoiler alert!). (This Legends trailer even pokes fun at Bean’s sad mortality rate.)

Also in this video Q&A: The trio of actors discuss what sets Legends (exec-produced by Homeland‘s Howard Gordon and Alexander Cary and premiering Aug. 13) apart from other spy dramas; Majorino talks about the very difficult decision to leave Grey’s Anatomy for this new gig (and tells us what it’s like to actually pass the FBI training test); and Larter reveals which of her Heroes characters she would prefer to play if she somehow gets pulled into NBC’s summer 2015 revival miniseries.
