Homeland is adding a Smashing new cast member.

Raza Jaffrey — who played Karen’s boyfriend Dev on the NBC musical drama — will heavily recur on Season 4 of the Showtime series, per The Hollywood Reporter.

The actor will play Aasar Khan, a decorated lieutenant-colonel in the Pakistan intelligence service who butts heads with Carrie.

Additionally, Michael O’Keefe (King & Maxwell) will recur as deputy station chief John Redmond, who serves as No. 2 to Corey Stoll’s character.

    Good for Sirens it’s pretty funny. Have they even had Cats sister on this season? I can’t remember the last time she was even on.

    I assumed Diaz was a regular already. Glad to hear it. Is Matt McGorry going to be sticking around now that he’s a regular on How To Get Away With Murder?

  6. More relevant to HOMELAND is the fact that Raza Jeffrey was a member of the ensemble on the long-running British spy drama SPOOKS (which aired in the U.S. under the name M.I.-5).

    (And coincidentally, his ex-wife, Miranda Raison, is showing up on 24: LIVE ANOTHER DAY as an aide to the Prime Minister.)
