Raising Hope Season 4 Cast Michael RappaportMichael Rappaport, so used to raising hell on Justified, will soon try his hand at Raising Hope.

The FX drama’s baddie will guest-star as Michael, a man who comes to live with the Chances to ensure that their home is a good environment for the puppy they want to adopt, TV Guide.com reports.

Michael Chernus (Orange Is the New Black) will guest-star on at least one episode of ABC’s Nashville, TVLine has learned exclusively. He’ll play Howie V., a very successful (also manic and avant garde) Los Angeles-based music producer who wants to turn Juliettte ino the next Beyonce.

• Emmy- and Golden Globe-winner Camryn Manheim (The Practice) has taken the role of Sam Barton, best friend to Halle Berry’s Molly, in the upcoming CBS series Extant. The sci-fi drama is scheduled to bow this summer.

• Even before Lifetime’s TV-movie adaptation of Flowers in the Attic debuts on Jan. 18, the cabler is developing a sequel based on V.C. Andrews’ novel Petals on the Wind. Lifetime announced its plans for the second movie on Thursday at the Television Critics Association Press Tour in Pasadena, Calif.

• FX has finalized its casting on the drama series pilot Hoke, starring actor/producer Paul Giamatti (John Adams), with Oona Chaplin (Game of Thrones), John Carroll Lynch (Body of Proof), Robert Wisdom (Nashville), Spanish actor Jordi Mollà and Tammy Blanchard (The Big C) rounding out the cast.

• Comedy Central has ordered 10 episodes of Moonbeam City, an animated, comedic send-up of 1980s crime dramas. Per our sister site Deadline, Rob Lowe (Parks and Recreation) will co-executive produce and voice a character on the series alongside fellow cast members Elizabeth Banks (30 Rock), Kate Mara (House of Cards) and Will Forte (Saturday Night Live).
