Chuck vet Adam Baldwin has replaced Titus Welliver in TNT’s pilot The Last Ship.
From big-screen helmer Michael Bay, the apocalyptic pilot follows a Navy crew facing a new existence after a pandemic destroys most of Earth’s population.
As reported by Deadline, the Lost actor had to depart the project rather suddenly due to a family emergency. Baldwin — who recently guest-starred on Law & Order: SVU — will now portray Mike Slattery, second in command to Eric Dane’s Captain Tom Chandler. If The Last Ship does go to series, the cabler will likely find a spot in the cast for Welliver.
