The Seinfeld vet is set to appear in the fifth episode Harry’s Law‘s upcoming second season as a teacher who has been suspended after failing a student who — gasp! — called Darwinism “a crock,” reports TV Guide Magazine. Harry’s Law returns Sept. 21 at 9 pm on NBC.

• TVLine has learned exclusively that Cassandra Peterson (aka the one and only Elvira) will guest star on the Halloween installment of ABC’s new fall comedy, Last Man Standing. Tim Allen’s character will run into the horror hostess at the home of Hector Elizondo’s Ed.

• Billy Miller, who currently stars on CBS’ The Young and the Restless, will recur on The CW’s Ringer this fall as a “blue-collar guy” who gets to know Sarah Michelle Gellar’s Bridget in a Narcotics Anonymous meeting, per TVGuide.com. Ringer premieres Tuesday, Sept. 13 at 9/8c.

• 10 Things I Hate About You alum Chris Zylka will guest star on The CW’s new supernatural drama, The Secret Circle, as a young man who returns to Chance Harbor and sets his sights on Britt Robertson’s Cassie, E! Online reports.

• Dying to catch up on The Good Wife before Season 3 premieres Sunday, Sept. 25? CBS has you covered! On Sunday, Sept. 4, the network will air a half-hour special that recaps the first two seasons as well as offers a sneak peek at what the new year has in store.

Breaking Bad‘s Giancarlo Esposito has been cast in USA Network’s new gambling drama pilot Over/Under, TVGuide.com reports. The actor will play “a dry-witted and sophisticated artist” who once taught, and still carries a torch for, Caroline Dhavernas’s Georgette.

Legend of the Seeker starlet Bridget Regan has joined TNT telepic Hide, per The Hollywood Reporter. Carla Gugino (Spin City), Mark Paul-Gosselaar (Franklin & Bash), and Kevin Alejandro (True Blood) co-star.

• Recent Glee director Eric Stoltz has landed the lead in Lifetime’s upcoming dramedy Modern Love, Deadline reports. The series, created by The Big C exec producer Jenny Bicks, “weaves actual stories from New York Times columns to explore the state of modern relationships.”

• Krista Allen (Days of Our Lives) is the latest actor to drop by TNT’s upcoming new drama Perception, which stars Will & Grace‘s Eric McCormack as Dr. Daniel Pierce, an eccentric professor who helps the FBI solve cases. According to TVGuide.com, Allen will play wealthy alumna who admires Pierce’s work. Perception is set to debut Summer 2012.

• Season 2 of Bravo’s Work of Art: The Next Great Artist premieres Wednesday, October 12 at 9 pm. Elsewhere on Bravo, The Millionaire Matchmaker is moving to Thursday nights starting Sept. 8.
